All managers from last year should have received an e-mail inviting you to rejoin, let's see how many we have and we can go from there.  If you are interested in joining let me know and we can add you to our waiting list.

Here are the current required positions and stats. Feel free to offer any suggestions as to changes and we can discuss.
Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Hits (H), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Strikeouts (K), Errors (E), Batting Average (AVG)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Walks (BB), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)

For anyone new thinking about joining, this is the third (?) year of a keeper league. Those people who are re-joining will have their keepers and the remaining teams will be blown up and those players added to the FA pool. New entrants will pick from the pool first then the rest of the players will come in for the remainder of the online draft.

Current draft date is the Wednesday 10th March at 8.30pm, let me know if this doesn't work. Always fun to have a good turnout at the draft.

I'd like to add OPS for the position player and Holds for the pitchers.

I don't think we should have holds, unless we have more pitcher roster spots...
I'm fine with OPS (though, I'm not sure what it stands for).

I would like OPS and Holds as well.

OPS = On base percentage plus slugging

The ability of a player to both get on base and to hit for power

OPS sounds interesting, not sure re holds, will read up.

OPS is one of the better stats in baseball,

I like holds because it gives some value to all those RP pitchers in the free agent pool.

Is Manhattan coming back this season?


Anyway, we need about 5 more players (for 14 teams in total).

I have just sent MMD a note and will find out. Does anyone know candidates who might be interested?

Technically, last year we had 12 teams, so 3 teams is fine too.
